Reading Material

I decided I’d get back to reading on the 25 minute bus trip to work, instead of sitting fiddling with my phone. And on the tram back into town, I discovered I wasn’t the only one reading rather than fiddling. Ahem.

I was heading into town to see Polanski’s first feature film, ‘Knife in the Water’ from 1962. Two men; a woman; a yacht; a vast expanse of water … and jazzy music. A story of rivalry and sexual tension! Though I could see it was actually all about the hypocrisy of Communist rule in Poland, n’that. Terrific entertainment. And a wee pint afterwards to discuss it all in greater detail. An Teallach ales. Recommended.
