Lilac

A bright day. I have been running around in circles, doing errands. The garden is growing very fast as it always does in May.
Saw Dylan Moran at the Theatre Royal last night. I enjoyed his surreal, sometimes manic and at other times laconic style of storytelling and musing on life and death - there's a bit of the Samuel Beckett in there somewhere.
Since returning from Scotland there are a thousand and one exciting things to sort out...new tyres for the car, repair the electric oven, cut the grass and so on. Meanwhile we have suddenly embarked on a culture binge: Christy Moore on Thursday night and the Philharmonia Orchestra on Friday. At least we have got our priorities in the wrong  right place.
