In sync

After a morning spent beginning the big tidy up in my house (this will take a while), I escaped to a lovely afternoon of bird-watching and photography with a couple of friends at a local nature reserve.

There was lots to see, not least the little goslings above, but also some aggressive behaviour from lapwings protecting their nest.  What a great way to spend a few hours.
