Ken's stained glass window
A very talented friend - teacher, musician, artist - put out a call on Facebook for any old tiles for a project for the Heaton Mining disaster so I called to drop off what we had. He is helping children make a mosaic. Great project - art, history and recycling. This blip is a window he designed and made for his house.
Then I went round to look after Ella and Nathaniel as their mum had a late meeting and dad had to sleep before his night shift. We had a great time. Nathaniel who is 16 months, copies all Ella does. Of course when she shouts "higher" at the swings in the park, so does he. If she is "reading" he wants to read. She's not so bothered about playing with the ball though so he keeps lobbing it at her and telling her "catch!"
