Cherry Blossom

One of the things I have been conscious of in my various wonderings recently has been the feeling that gardens seem well ahead of mine.  I would imagine the cherry blossom in Edinburgh might be disappearing after a wonderful show over the past few weeks.

Even the wild cherries in the woods are in their full glory at the moment.

So I checked.  And one of the cherry trees is on its way.  And no less beautiful for taking its own time to do what it needs to do.
