Beaver at the water's edge

Our day started rather spectacularly with us cycling beside the river Danube and the beaver swimming alongside. We had seen evidence of beavers but it was quite special to have 20 minutes uninterrupted time spent moving along together in the early morning dappled sunlight.
The rest of the day was spent enjoying a glass of cider at the local cider house, more beautiful scenery and plenty of warm sunshine: a perfect last day on our bike and boat tour.
