I think we should forget about Mondays though.  They're rubbish. They just don't know how to behave in polite society.

Talking of polite, I learned a really rude German word today.  I wanted to call someone something rude because they're being a bit of a deliberately unhelpful so-and-so.  And for some reason a word suggested itself to me - I must have heard it or read it somewhere, because I've never said it out loud before today.  I really wasn't sure of what it meant specifically so I put it into dict.cc.  Quite pleased that I didn't use it in an E-Mail - that could have had all sorts of repercussions.

It's a compound noun as so many words in German are. Don't call anyone the words "Mist" & "Kerl" together, not here at any rate.  And if you are going to call someone one, then the definite article is "der"/indefinite "ein".
