New shoes

Decided that summer clothes call for summer shoes and of course I haven't got any suitable pairs already!
Girl at the supermarket check out when I did grocery shopping had intricately plaited hair.  I commented how nice it looked and she said it takes 3 1/2 hours to do and lasts a couple of months.  
There was another customer walking round pushing a proper old fashioned Silver Cross big pram, and it was much admired.  So much better than the high tech efforts you get nowadays (but maybe not as practical)
