Early morning and a last breakfast at Secret Garden in Quito. Got my other stuff from storage where it's been for the past 2 weeks and was quickly reminded how heavy a full backpack can be.

Headed to the airport for my flight to Bogota earlier than I needed to, which was lucky because my taxi driver pretty much had to do an about turn when we arrived and I realised my camera, passport and money were all in a safe at the hostel. $75 in taxi rides later I was back at the airport, valuables in hand. I bumped into Jess and Adam, a British couple I met in Cotopaxi who were heading back to London that night, and sat with them until our flights were boarding. I finally got through immigration by 10pm and hopped in a taxi to get to the historic district where I was staying.
