Make, Do and Mend......

.....I've been ratching in the attic cupboard again......and I'm SO going to knit  that embroidered bobble hat with the dangly pom-poms for the firstborn. I've got 'previous' when it comes to making her wear tasteless hats, her childhood was probably hell......I'm quite surprised no-one ever rang Social Services;-) 
Luckily I also found a St John Ambulance Association Handbook (1914) which gives the recommended treatment for the hysterical attack which she'll no doubt have when she gets it (see extra photo, it's well worth a read;-))
