One species each day (from my backyard)
This Erigeron karvinskianus lives along our garden path. The flower looks very similar to that of the daisy I published on 5 May. I wanted an easy one again tonight, but it wasn't so easy to find its botanical name. It was also a challenge to get the quality right, but I think I managed quiet all right. If you look carefully you can even see another species, feasting on the pollen. It's a nymph of a thrips, but it's hard to tell its botanical name. Even if I knew it, I wouldn't tell, because I upload only ONE species a day.
