Listen you adorable, striped little ditty shigger, I JUST put that ageratum in the ground, not even fifteen minutes ago. DO not even think about it.

One of the things I love the most about gardening is the sounds of critters scritching around, birds singing and bees buzzing, unless they're too close to my head. This morning, the robins are taking turns at the birdbath, I've just returned from the nursery with a car load of things to plant and when this day is done, my herbs will be in. My herbs; the reason I can survive winter; knowing that I can walk out with a pair of scissors any time of day and snip something fresh to toss into whatever I'm making.
