Is it really so innocent...?

It always makes me wonder... is there a Guilty Railway somewhere? Or is it the case of dragging your attention away from the fact that something horrible did happen here, when it was still a functional railway? I'm yet to explore an old tunnel halfway down, it's very long, damp and cold...
