Black-winged Stilt

This beautiful bird is not in breeding plumage so that must mean it's either a female or a juvenile male. It looks rather lonely on the Wadi, but obviously it's doing well as it looks in great condition, staying for the summer I shall keep my eye on it as most of the wetland birds are now gone. It's now the season of seabirds and more exotic land and tree birds.
