Vaux-le-Vicomte

We had a tough time getting to Vaux-le-Vicomte today but enjoyed it once we did. It was one bit of bad luck after another at first (just missed the shuttle bus, the taxi company wasn't answering their phone, one of our water bottles rolled into the road, got run over by a car and burst getting Th all wet...) but we got everything sorted out in the end. The wax figure of the man in the iron mask in the dungeons was a little scary for my niece, but she loved running around in the gardens and they looked really lovely today.

We had visited Vaux-le-Vicomte in December with my in-laws (see my earlier blip of the front of the castle).
