Purple Haze

The bluebells are still out in Micheldever Wood but some are past their best.

Mr F and I had been working hard all day but we stopped at 6pm and took Murphy for a walk.

In amongst the trees we could see a bright patch of broom bushes and then we came upon the strange sight of three red baubles hanging on a tree. I wonder what the story is behind them?

As this weekend I had promised to make a banana loaf and malteser tiffin, I've just made both at 11pm.  The cake is now cooling and the tiffin is in the fridge.

I'm working from home tomorrow as I have to see the doctor in the afternoon to have a lump removed from my leg.  I can't say that I am looking forward to it.
