So unusual

When I was at the Gardens a few weeks ago, the gorgeous Jade Vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys) was in flower.

It's past its best in this pic, only a small clump of flowers remaining, instead of a huge long stem of nearly a meter long.

The incredible blue green flowers are normally pollinated by bats in the wild.

Just amazing!
