Chancing It.

This afternoon's live entertainment in the local boozer came from Steve Simpson. In the '70s he was a sideman to former Faces/Small Faces hero Ronnie Lane in Slim Chance (and can be seen in action in this splendidly evocative clip from the much missed Old Grey Whistle Test).
His guitar, fiddle & mandolin skills are still on top form!
