Beautiful afternoon for a bike ride!

A beautiful summer-like day today. We had a lovely uplifting service at church this morning, then enjoyed a great bike ride along the Canal du Loing this afternoon, a bit further south than usual, starting in Montcourt Fromonville, and continuing through Nemours to the edge of the village of Bagneux sur Loing. The fine weather had drawn many people outside - couples, families, young, old, walkers, bikers and fishermen. Through one stretch in Nemours I ended up walking my bike, as there were so many fishermen, with extra-long heavy-duty rods which extended right across the path, so you would have to wait while they drew them in sufficiently for you to pass! We wrapped up the day with a good dinner, washed down by some good red wine! A good day!
