Active Sunday

Perfect spring Sunday. Warm and blue sky as predicted. We crossed the lake at 11am and hiked from Horgen up the hill, down into the Sihl valley and along the river Sihl to Zurich city. We logged 4.5 hours of walking, 30'000 steps and 100 floors (for Fitbit users). Two stops along the way. The first one in Adliswil to have a decent dessert and a glas of Rosé, the second one at Fork & Bottle which is kind of a beer garden featuring dozens of beers from local micro breweries. Just the right casual treat after a long hike.

From Zurich we took the regular sunset cruise boat back (which goes all the way up to Rapperswil) to where we live (halfway, 1 hour) to arrive back home at 7pm. Barbecue on the terrace and relaxing evening.
