Remarkably nice on the inside

Wow what a busy Sunday. I was up early (leaving K for a well earned lie in) and had a strava segment bashing 20 something miles followed by almost 5 running with Monty. The transition for this dualathalon did involve a cup of tea, thus it wasn't all that quick!

A brunch with K, then tidying up the garden, putting a TV on the wall in the garage and seeing if my old mountain bike wheels fit K's bike (they do, so that's fantastic).

Then it's all brought to an abrupt halt, as I need to be in Stuttgart tomorrow for a meeting, so packed, showered and changed in less than an hour (let's hope I've not forgotten anything). K took me to Birmingham airport, which was good and now I write this in a remarkably nice hotel interior, having ordered wiener schnitzel and drinking a local beer.
