Storm doing his bit to help wash up after a burst water main during the night on the A22 left Hailsham and surrounding villages with no water.

Apparently there was trolley rage in the supermarkets where people battled over buying bottled water. The roads were gridlocked around the car park where the water company was distributing free bottles. Thanks to Twitter and Facebook updates I have avoided both places while my personal shopper delivered water bought in the safety of Eastbourne.

I hope it's back on soon!

very touched my young neighbours have just knocked on my door to ask if I'm ok for water as they are driving to her dad's to fill some bottles. Very sweet of them :)
