secret places

everybody should have one to run to. May is my favourite month here. Everything softens, delicate leaves on trees, wildflowers in hedges and the lolling heads of cow-parsley dip as you drive past them along the lanes. It's easy to find some corner, hidden from view by the vegetation. Em and I spent time this weekend building the bones of a bean teepee in our garden. She'll have a cosy nook in the garden to hide away in and we'll have beans for tea.
