Apple Blossom

We had our apple tree quite severely pruned a few months ago but this hasn't stopped the production of a mass of blossom. If the fruit comes as prolifically we are in for a large crop. 
The blossom also seems to have withstood damage from today's rain which is more than can be said for much of the cherry blossom.
