And so it begins.

The title means something like "open day", as in when you get to visit places that are normally shut. 

We opened the terrace door to the garden to see what our cats would make of it. 

Cautious is the word to describe Moot's approach.  The large Persian cat that lives next door was around and very interested.  But Moot is not a cat to be trifled with.  It'll be fun to see how he interacts.  At least I hope it'll be fun.

Munni took the whole thing in her stride.  She disappeared into the neighbour's garden (they have rabbits that are bigger than her) and came back as soon as someone new approached.
