Food Chain

I was preparing breakfast this morning and at one point all the birds flew off, I went out to check everything in anticipation that the Sparrowhawk may be around for me to photograph her in one of the trees... but she was nowhere to be seen.
I came back in and 5 minutes later it was her, she was back and sadly she had caught one of the baby starlings who had been feeding in the garden.

Had a good day today, I cooked a roast and J made a beautiful white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and we played games all afternoon with J's Mum & Dad.
The Union Jack has been flying, shame the sun didn't come out to play.
