Moorhen eggs

Golf today, I took my little camera, as we have 16 holes on the golf course with water on them, some of the lakes have water snakes in them, all of them have birds of many varieties.  This moorhen had built her nest out of the way or preditors, so hopefully the eggs will hatch soon.

I managed to get a picture of a water snake, not very good, as they swim into the shadows when they detect your presence.
