Stained glass window, St Peter's Babraham
A lovely 9.5 mile walk from Wandlebury to Babraham and back via Stapleford. On the way we stopped at the church and unexpectedly was this stunning stained glass commemorating St Peter, each panel having some meaning to his life. It was designed by John Piper who has also done work for Coventry Cathedral (for you, WSJ) and photos of his other beautiful work were on display. A cool respite on a hot day.
