Spectaculae

The main rhododendron (azalea?) in the garden is coming out and very pink it is too.  Also found that the smaller ones that were swamped by the now-culled conifer bed are blooming spectacularly and even pinker.  

Red/pink is not a colour the camera sensor does well.

Today was also the day of the Finding of Spectacles.  A guest had lost theirs somewhere in their room on Thursday.  Several of us looked but saw nothing. It's been a bit of an ongoing mystery. Thankfully, an old pair of Cupcake's was a good enough match and these served until this morning when, at last, the original pair were found when packing.
