Cub Camp Day 2

I am a little confused as to why yesterday's blip shows a picture if the school chicks. It shouldn't. But I was having problems uploading from Cub Camp. So i will try and sort that out in a bit!

So day 2 began not long after we went to bed. Red clearly does not like sleeping in a tent. Even if it is dark. Unless he can convince his Dad to vacate the doubled air bed/sleeping bag he shares with his Mum. And make his Dad sleep in the junior sleeping bag on a apparently very thin self inflating air bed!

The day proper began with drizzle sometime between 6 and 7 or far too early. A cooked breakfast was prepared with very little input from me - I'll be sacked from kitchen duties at this rate!

Several hours later (!!!!) we left to do some geocaching. Over the past few weeks the Cubs have spent their meetings preparing some travel bugs. 4 geocaches later they were all deposited and the Cubs were tired and wet!

The rain/mizzle did not let up so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the Marquee again playing games and finishing off clock making!

I left with Red soon after tea as the Cubs set off orienteering in the woods. After last night we decided that for the sake of everyone it was best for he and I to spend tonight at home in our own beds...

Shame.
