Duck

I decided this morning to visit the swan at Llantarnam to see if there was any progress with her egg-laying.  I was a bit disappointed because although she was sat on the nest asleep, I couldn't see any eggs, and to make it worse, I was so close to getting a brilliant shot of her partner who was flying towards me,. (If only I'd pressed the shutter!)  I was too scared and nearly fell over trying to retreat.  In the end I settled for this blip of a duck which was sitting close by, not sure what type of duck it is.
