between a block and a hard place

There is a horrible sinking feeling which sometimes happens as a parent and it has thankfully only happened to me roughly twice. It is the moment when you know your child has just hurt themselves in a very painful manner. The occasional trip and grazed knee is a daily occurrence. One time eldest was nearly launching herself off a scooter, which she subsequently did nearly smashin all her teeth out.

Today it was another near teeth smash with child 2, ah garden gates should not be opened in the wrong direction.

The sun came out but it was a pretty nippy
