The view from above
If you only ever look at things from one angle you never see the full picture, the real thing, the structure, the shape. There's a lot going on that you'll never know about, never care about.
They say that those who look down on things have a privileged position. I would say it's a precarious, unrealistic position that misses out, and those who own it don't really know what they're looking at.
I wonder why we hold those who only look down in such high regard...
(This is a lupin. A tall, beautiful lupin that has survived aphids, slugs, snails, heavy rain and strong winds. You'd only know that if you'd been looking closely from all angles. It doesn't look that significant from this elevated position)
