Laid to mark VE Day which rudely clashed with some nationwide popularity contest, everyone wanted to win, someone did, the losers took their bats and balls and went home, no one seemed happy.

Anyway... Mr C&D and I had a super jaunt and rounded it off nicely by eating all the first class sandwiches on our journey home to the frozen north. ..... Spicy Mexican Bean is a good deal nicer than one might imagine as a sandwich filling.
