A rainy, rainy day.

The sky has been pouring down rain all day long and even from yesterday.

Of course I am not complaining, because we need the water.  

We had the great fortune to attend the wedding and celebration of one of my nieces today.  It was a great ceremony and dinner afterwards.  We had a wonderful time associating with family and new friends.

As we were driving home, the clouds finally broke and the sun peaked through for a glorious sunset.  I couldn't resist making it the blip of the day.

I was going to do macro with one of the water soaked plants in the yard.  That is my second shot.
