Maybe I'll start a childhood pleasures series

#1 licking the cooking bowl/spoon/any other surfaces that may have experienced chocolate contamination due to an overenthusiastic mixing technique.

I shot a moose once, it wasn't chocolate.

Also we went to the aloha market which is somehow linked to our towns obsession with Hawaii.  It is very hard to hold a zoom lens steady while baby is bopping up and down to Hawaiian vibes.  Here are a couple of shots on the Flickerinz.  Our mayor was re-elected recently even though he used tax payers money to take him and 60 of his employees back and forth to Hawaii on the flimsy excuse of becoming a twin city with Honolulu.  The mayor of Honolulu came over here once.  On his own.  He hasn't been back.  Perhaps he got fed up of people asking him in broken English if he could use chopsticks.  So it just goes to show that, in whatever country, the vast majority of politicians are not in it for the people but for the power and money, and there are people who will keep them in office because for no fathomable reason.
