What lies beneath...

The only funny bit about this is that I nearly fell down the steps into the nettles when mom told me she'd seen a rat! So hilarious.

We were on the way back from the shops and it seemed like a good idea to take an unusual picture from the back of Ayr Town Hall rather than the view that is seen on most of the post cards I've sent over the years. I wandered bravely into a tatty back yard and then down some rickety steps into an overgrown area strewn with bits of glass and rubbish.

Well, I didn't see any rats. I presume it was mom trying to hurry me up!
