Coming to life

The plants are coming into bloom and the pond is full of life.

Age caught up with the goldfish we had in the pond so they have gone to that great pond in the sky over recent months.

We do, however, have a lot of very young fish and more tadpoles than we have had in a lot of years.

To give the young fish and the tadpoles the best chance of survival we have turned to pump off for now so they don't get sucked into it.

This decision may come back to haunt us if we get overrun by frogs and fish
