Got up bright and early as the sun was shining, got the washing out on the line. Walked to the sorting office to collect a parcel, came back via the garden centre and managed to buy some well reduced but healthy looking plants. Then went to meet Caroline for coffee and cake and lots of chats on election sadness, aging parents, schools, our off spring etc. Next caught the train into Reading to meet this gorgeous girl for more food. I had a little walk around the shops but it was quite busy so I returned and called to see my parents. As my brother was still there, I got him to start up their mower for me and I did their lawns.
When I got home I did mine too, before having a well deserved soak in the bath with a book, bliss.
