BUTTERFLY ON THE WILD CARROT FLOWERS
arI had so many wild carrot plants in my garden that I took measures soon enough when again so many appeared. I let two plants grow and they are giants. The Araschnia levana did feast upon the tiny white flowers.
It was windy today, and sunny . I fel asleep on the rocking bench on the terrace.
Only later in the afternoon I walked to the supermarket to buy some food.
There was fresh spinach (not often available) and with spaghetti our meal tasted rather fine.
My haiku:
Butterflies make no
Noise or my ears are too coarse
To hear their soft song
And the proverb:
Nobody's nails can reach the length of London.
1818 Scott, Ht. Midl.
