The brighter side of the day

Journal1961 asked where I find all these blue skies yesterday - well out walking pooch this morning in the pouring rain I took a few shots of the ominous black sky & then pulled my hood up & marched on - it was great to sit under the veranda at our old neighbours and listen to the rain hammer down - then home to an afternoon full of family visits.
But looking out the window, just as forecast, the day got nicer and nicer from midday - and by 18:00 a mooch with the pooch through the fields behind our house was called for. The knee is still very unhappy - so I'm on restricted activities - so two walks in a day was a real treat - as was this glorious blue sky.
