Success!

When I saw the parts and instructions for assembly I feared I might need a degree in technology! However, with a bit of perseverance I managed and now the hose has been safely transferred to its new home and the old one, which was held together with rope consigned to the bin! a lovely day for garden jobs, but watering not needed yet!
