First shot of the day

Another bloody awful nights sleep - this time soft bed as much as anything. Will be glad to get back to my own bed. 

Felt like crap but the weather was fine so I had to go out! I headed out to Tekapo - I turned off on the Mt John road and headed to lake McGregor and lake Alexandrina. TeeJay and I once tried to walk around McGregor in winter but when the track started to look more like a goat track we turned round and came back!
Today i decided to walk alongside lake alexandrine instead. I was but 100m into the walk when this warbler came and sat next to me. Blip in the bag.
 He and his pals were very accommodating and I took rather a lot more shots and of course being where I was I took lots of scenery shots. You can check them out here. 
After lunch at Mackenzies in Tekapo I came back via Lake Pukaki. Man was the weather closing in by then! and now it is seriously dark and moody.
