Learning to Sew

Saturday I surprised Sugar Bear by saying, "Hey.....Let's do some sewing.  Do you want a lesson today?"  Oh my....she was pretty excited.  I go through times where I sew like crazy, and then a huge lull will happen.  I haven't sewn anything in months, and Sugar has been waiting for me to teach her how to sew for over a year.  

We had a great time sewing together.  I finished up three little projects, and Sugar made two very fun stuffed monsters.  She made the monster she named "May", for herself, and this monster for a birthday present for her friend.  Both projects made her feel so very proud.  It was a perfect sort of Saturday.
