Wild Day in Chipley FL
Cute as this guy is, I may change this pic later when we get the photos developed from our disposable cameras (yes I did say disposable cameras - they still make those things?? LOL) - we had to teach the kids how to wind on the film!
We visited Marianna caverns in the morning, in the rain and then drove up to Chipley FL to visit the Seacrest Wolf Preserve which I found completely by chance while looking for things to do around Marianna - and how could we not go when Sweetgirl is a huge wolf fan.
Anyhow, the Wolf preserve asks that visitors use disposable cameras as the wolves have been known to steal things and can destroy your lovely digital EOS in one chomp :0) Still waiting to go get those pics developed so hoping we got some good pics. The visit was awesome! Such a great place. The wolf packs live in large compounds, dig their own dens, etc. Visitors are taken into the compound and greeted by the wolves who wish to, some are super friendly - incredible experience.
After the tour we were able to visit with some smaller creatures that live at Seacrest, including this little skunk which Sweetgirl hugged for ages :0)
