Prairie Dogs

Today I spent a very long time trying to get a picture of these little fellows.
They have this brilliant, yet very annoying, system whereby when a human walks anywhere near them they sound the alarm and warn all other prairie dogs in the area to run back into their holes.
So I spent a while darting from hole to hole.
And then I got smart and got a longer lens and went and sat in my car and lulled them into a false sense of security.
