Perseverance is my middle name.

We are away again at a house owned by a charity specifically for families with a disabled member. For years on the first and sometimes second night away anywhere (and we go away a lot!) Big Fish would scream and complain about the strangeness of it all. He was renowned for it and I always expected a sleepless first night. But I continued doing it and doing it. Nowadays however, I can take him anywhere and he's almost guaranteed to fall asleep within the first hour. Tonight he was asleep within two minutes. I hadn't even finished the goodnight song!
