A fresh morning walk

After the drama and excitement of last night's political events I took a bit longer to get going in the morning. My giving up point was the Nick Clegg result around 5am.

I dropped our son of for his work and took a few moments to walk in the Meadows. A week or so ago I promised another photo of the cherry blossom but I'd not been able to get here before now - at least in daylight.

With the wind and very heavy rain I was pleasantly surprised to see the trees still in bloom although the slightest of breeze now creates a pink snow storm.

It was a lovely fresh morning with clear blue skies and helped to clear the head before a series of meetings and phone calls in the office.
