Sole Searching

Funny thing about blipping every day. It can help both to record and distill a day for you. Started early in the teeming rain dropping J to school with his tuba under his arm as the band had a local performance after school for the Wellness Festival. 
Up to Cork then as Zillah's court date for her divorce was today (checked if I could mention it). Neither of us had ever been in a court before. A high-ceilinged, imposing building that they spent over €20 million on restoring during the boom. All helping, along with the wigs and pomp to intimidate the people who pay for it. After a bit of hurrying and scurrying a less than communicative judge dispatched it all in under a minute. You wouldn't want to be sensitive about it all.
Then we went nearby to the aptly named Liberty Grill for a celebratory scone and coffee. Autumn joined us there dripping wet shortly afterwards and we had a bit of a mooch about the shops and the book shops and the second hand shops and a bit of lunch. Then back to Clon for the band and the boy and a crow on the wall and then home for the dinner and a birthday cake, as it's my birthday today! :)
