Heroes

A few weeks ago, Rebecca and I came upon these war graves in our 'back garden', the youngest being 17. A semi circle of headstones around a large cherry tree. The surprising thing is we have lived here for 24 years and didn't know they were here. So after all these years we are still discovering the place where we live. As today is the 70th anniversary of VE Day, I thought it was quite appropriate and a thank you to all who fought for us.

After school yesterday, Rebecca and I went shopping for a wedding jacket. I may have found something suitable but they didn't have my size. Another visit will be needed.

I am going to get a little something of my chest. I rarely write statements on my Facebook page but accept many do and over the last few weeks people have expressed their views on the upcoming election. I grin and bear it, say nothing (I have always hated confrontation!!!). I voted (I'm happy) but do not bang on about my views to others, it's all personal and up to the individual. However, today my page is now full of moans and groans especially to people who may have voted against their wished parties. Surely the majority speaks for itself!!! I posted this here rather than my fb page. Please, please don't confront me ...I hate confrontation lol ;-)))
